Sunday the 28th July was our Presidents Day, all procedes from Presidents Dauy go to charity, our Presidents (Peter Griffiths who sadly passed away earlier this year) chosen charity was “The Alzheimer’s Society”. Our Vice President Leslie Skinner agreed to take over Peters role until she takes full office in October 2019.

Considering the awful weather there were ove 50 members and friends who attended the day. The BBQ, prepared and served by Kath, Tony and David Pinder was excellent, several money raising schemes were run throughout the day one of which was the renowned Mavis raffle. Overall the Presidents charity benefitted by ove £400 on the day, Leslie will be continuing to raise money until we present our cheque to the “The Alzheimer’s  Society” at our Presentation Dinner in October this year. Well done everyone.
